Week 3 Injury Report: Sunday AM

Some fantasy stars can be found on the injury report every week, but will they play? Here at No Huddle, we will give you the most updated injury report at the end of every week. Then on Sunday, stay tuned to our twitter account @No_HuddleFFB for the latest news!

Arizona Cardinals
Evan Mathis G (Foot) Questionable                        OUT
Analysis: The Cardinals go to Buffalo this week to face the Bills pretty healthy. I’m always skeptical of teams traveling across the country and QBs not playing at home. That said play your Cardinals today.

Atlanta Falcons
Julio Jones WR (Calf) Questionable                         Likely to Play
Mohamed Sanu WR (Ankle) Questionable            Likely to Play
Analysis: Atlanta goes to New Orleans to play what should be the fantasy matchup of the week. I know I know we said that about NO vs NYG last week, but if the Falcons WRs are healthy and ready to go look for a shootout this week in the Big Easy.

Baltimore Ravens
Analysis: Baltimore heads into Jacksonville this week pretty healthy. Mike Wallace has been a revelation with Joe Flacco. The ability to threaten with the deep ball has opened up the Ravens offense. Keep your eye on Kenneth Dixon and his injury situation, he is a great talent ready to explode on the scene when healthy.

Buffalo Bills
Sammy Watkins WR (Foot) Questionable               OUT
Greg Salas WR (Foot) Questionable                            Likely to Play
Analysis: The Cardinals come to town this week and both teams are pretty healthy. The Bills do not want to start 0-3 especially to a team that travels all the way across the country to play a 1 pm est game. Things are falling into place for the Bills, but I like the Cardinals.

Carolina Panthers
Jonathan Stewart RB (Hamstring) OUT                        OUT
Analysis: The Vikings and their vaunted defense comes to town this week and the Panther have their top RB on the shelf this week. Cameron Artis-Payne gets the start this week, but look for him to split time with Fozzy Whitaker. In this game I’m playing my stars and hoping for the best, but this one has defensive struggle written all over it.

Chicago Bears
Jay Cutler QB (Hand) Doubtful                                 OUT
Alshon Jeffery WR (Knee) Questionable               Likely to Play
Analysis: Da Bears go to Jerry’s world this week to take on the Cowboys. Brian Hoyer gets the start for injured Jay Cutler and will likely have banged up Alshon Jeffery out wide. I don’t think the Cutler injury changes your fantasy starters much in this one. Play your Bears against the Boys.

Cincinnati Bengals
Tyler Eifert TE (Ankle) Doubtful                        OUT
Analysis: The Broncos come to town this week and they bring with them one of the top defenses in the league. The Broncos are loaded seemingly at every level, but if you dig into the stats a bit you find the Broncos have really struggled against the run this year. Look for a sneaky good game from Jeremy Hill here.

Cleveland Browns
Josh McCown QB (Collarbone) OUT                       OUT
Corey Coleman WR (Hand) OUT                              OUT
Joe Haden CB (Groin) Questionable                       Likely to Play
Analysis: The Browns go to Miami this week and start Rookie Cody Kessler at QB. They lost 1st round pick Corey Coleman this week in practice to a broken hand. It is hard to say what you’re going to get out of this game with so many unknowns. Crowell is your best bet for fantasy points here.

Dallas Cowboys
Analysis: The Cowboys are a little banged up on the O line with Doug Free and Tyron Smith showing up on the injury report as the Bears come into town this week. So far the Cowboys have looked good but not great and we expected that with rookie starters at QB and RB. Look for them to assert themselves this week against the Bears. Start your Cowboys.

Denver Broncos
Virgil Green TE (Calf) OUT                                              OUT
Bennie Fowler WR (Elbow) Questionable                 Game Time Decision
Analysis: Denver travels to Cincinnati this week in what will be the first road game of the year for the Super Bowl Champs. They lose Virgil Green this week which is an important role in Gary Kubiak’s offense. All signs point to tough sledding this week for the Broncos, but I think they find a way to run the ball. CJ Anderson has looked great this year.
Detroit Lions
Eric Ebron TE (Back) Questionable                            Likely to Play
Analysis: The Lions lost Ameer Abdullah to a foot injury last week. Theo Riddick looks to have a big role in Jim Bob Cooter’s offensive passing attack. The Lions go to Green Bay to take on division rival Packers this week. The Pack have struggled this year to get the passing game going. Look for the Lions to throw and throw often at Lambeau this week.

Green Bay Packers
Analysis: The Lions come to town this week to meet a very healthy Packer squad. Just last year Rogers had to remind everyone to R-E-L-A-X and has all to have to do the same this year as the Packers have started slow again. I think the Pack gets going this week at home, play your Packers.

Indianapolis Colts
T.Y. Hilton WR (Knee) Questionable                             Likely to Play
Andrew Luck QB (Shoulder) Questionable                   Likely to Play
Donte Moncrief WR (Shoulder) OUT                               OUT
Analysis: I’m predicting a shoot out here. The Colts are good on offense and terrible on D. Chargers are basically the same coming in as the league worst against Fantasy RBs. Look for lots of Fantasy points to be scored in this one.

Jacksonville Jaguars
Chris Ivory RB (Illness) Questionable                                Likely to Play
Analysis: The Jaguars have the Ravens coming to town this week. Could not be a better time to get Chris Ivory in the backfield. So far their Free Agent acquisition has been out with Illness. Look for him to have a big impact on the offense as a whole for the Jaguars this weekend.

Kansas City Chiefs
Jamaal Charles RB (Knee) Doubtful                                       OUT
Analysis: The Jets come to town this week and have looked good throwing the ball this year. The Chiefs have struggled to get going on offense without Jamaal Charles and look to be without him again this week. This one looks like a Matt Forte kind of day.

Los Angeles Rams
Analysis: The Rams go to Tampa Bay this and look to get their uber-athletic RB, Todd Gurley, going against a Bucs D that struggles against the run. The Rams are healthy and capable. If they can get their passing game going enough to thin the box I think they can get that running game up and going.

Miami Dolphins
Arian Foster RB (Groin) OUT                                                   OUT
Devante Parker WR (Hamstring) Questionable LP Game time decision
Analysis: The Browns come to town this week. Play all your Dolphins. That is all.

Minnesota Vikings
Adrian Peterson RB (Knee) IR                                               OUT/ IR
Analysis: The Vikings go to Carolina this week to take on the Panthers. I’m all in on Stefon Diggs this week as I said in our four corners debate here at nohuddleffb.com. The panthers have a young CB group and the Vikings will look to test it as they do not have their All Pro safety blanket, Adrian Peterson, who is out for the season with a knee injury. Look for the Vikings to go to the air in this one.

New Orleans Saints
Willie Snead WR (Toe) Questionable                            Game Time Decision
Analysis: Interdivision matchup at home. This one has been historically good for fantasy numbers. Play your Saints (and your Falcons) this week. It’s going to be a Barn Burner.

New York Giants
Rashad Jennings RB (Hand) Questionable                          Likely to Play
Analysis: A heated Josh Norman comes to town this week in what everyone is calling a rematch of Norman and OBJ. While I am looking forward to fireworks with those two look for Sterling Shepard, the number 2 WR for the giants to have a big day, as the Redskins give up to the most fantasy points to WR2 in the league this year.

New York Jets
Brandon Marshall WR (Knee) Questionable                        Likely to Play
Analysis: If I had to guess I would say Brandon Marshall plays this week in Kansas City. Play your Jets this week as KC has struggled on defense so far this year. I predict Forte has another big game.
Oakland Raiders
Analysis: Oakland goes to Nashville this week. Look for starting QB Derek Carr to make some music with his standout WR corps this week in Music City! The Titans are tough against the run, so the Raiders typical balanced attack maybe a bit stymied on one side. Look for the passing game to be good though and Carr to Cooper maybe something you hear often.

Philadelphia Eagles
Zach Ertz TE (Ribs) Out                                     Out
Analysis: Carson Wentz looks like the real deal. Eagles fans have to be excited as it looks like they have found the next big thing at QB in the NFL. That usually translates to lots of wins. Wentz has spread the ball around to names like Matthews, Agholor, Green-Beckham, and Burton. This week though the Steeler come to town and look to thwart the steady growth of this young prospect. Tougher test this week but I learned last week do not count Wentz out.

Pittsburgh Steelers
Analysis: The Steelers are looking like the best offense in the league so far this season even without All pro Leveon Bell and Dynamic WR Martavis Bryant. The real test this week will be for the Steelers on D and how they handle rookie sensation Carson Wentz. Look for the Big Ben and Antonio Brown to make up for last week and have a huge game this week. Business is Boomin’!

San Diego Chargers
Antonio Gates TE (Hamstring) Doubtful                            OUT
Analysis: San Diego goes to Indianapolis this week to face the Colts. I’m looking at Rookie Hunter Henry to have a big game here as the Colts can’t stop the TE and Gates is likely out. If the Rookie can’t get going here I don’t know when he will. I like this one to be a shootout. Play your Chargers and your Colts.

Seattle Seahawks
Tyler Lockett WR (Knee) Questionable                          Likely to Play
Thomas Rawls RB (Lower leg) Doubtful                        Likely OUT
Analysis: The Seahawks host the 49ers this week and look to be without starting running back Thomas Rawls. The Hawks have struggled this year to get the Offense going, but their D has been outstanding. This one looks like another game for kickers.

San Francisco 49ers
Analysis: The 49ers travel to Seattle this week and face a tough Seahawk Defense. Chip Kelly will have to work some magic to pull any fantasy points out of this one. Looks like a game for kickers to me.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Doug Martin RB (Hamstring) OUT                             OUT
Cecil Shorts III WR (Hamstring) OUT                        OUT
Luke Stocker TE (Ankle) OUT                                        OUT
Austin Sefarian- Jenkins (Cut from the team after DUI)
Analysis: Tampa Bay has lost their RB, Doug Martin, for at least a couple of weeks with a hamstring. Charles Sims gets the start this week as the Rams come to town. Look for the Bucs to be business as usual here and I’m looking for a big game from Charles Sims in Doug Martin’s place.

Tennessee Titans
Kendall Wright WR (Hamstring) Questionable         Game Time Decision
Delanie Walker TE (Hamstring) Questionable           Game Time Decision
Analysis: The Raiders come to Music City this week to face a gritty Titan team that squeezed a win out of a tough game in Detroit last week. Mariota will have a big game this week as the Raiders are one of the league’s worst against the pass.

Washington Redskins
Josh Doctson WR (Achilles) Questionable                      Will Play
Analysis: Lots of chatter this week about the Redskins losing faith in their QB Kirk Cousins. Another bad game from Cousins and you could see a full blown mutiny from the Washington offense. Play your Giants this week, except OBJ.
