Week 7 Injury Report: Tuesday

by Daniel Hall

Week 7 Injuries: Tuesday

Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Pittsburgh Steelers (Knee): The news out of Pittsburgh is not good. Roethlisberger has a torn meniscus that was surgically repaired on Monday. Some experts are looking to week 9 for a return for Big Ben, but if I owned Ben in fantasy I would really monitor this situation closely. Ben is as tough as they come and if he can play he will. As for this week, all Steelers take a slight hit, but guys like Le’Veon and AB are still must starts.

Doug Martin, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Hamstring): Doug Martin did not practice today after the bye. That’s concerning for those that had him pegged to return this week. For those that added Jacquizz Rogers you are getting an extra work this week if Martin does not play, because the Buccaneers just put Vincent Jackson on the IR with a torn ACL. That’s going to free up targets in the Bucs offense.

Eddie Lacy, RB, Green Bay Packers (Ankle): Looks like Lacy is going to miss some considerable time. The word out of Green Bay keeps getting worse. They even traded recently for Knile Davis. In my opinion, Davis is a must add for Lacy owners as James Starks is also on the shelf in Green Bay. Monitor the word out of Green Bay closely and try your best to read between the lines here.

Stefon Diggs, WR, Minnesota Vikings (Groin): Stefon was MIA at practice again today which is (as I said before in the Doug Martin paragraph) a bit concerning. Reports out of Minnesota were Diggs should be back this week against the Eagles. Continue to monitor this situation. If Diggs does go against the Eagles he’s a must-start in all formats.

Here are other notable injuries we are monitoring throughout the week. Their status will become clearer as the weekend approaches and No Huddle will send out a complete updated report as this week’s practices come to a close this weekend
