The QB Hierarchy: Week 8

Each week we will release “The Hierarchy” for each position. The Hierarchy will release players rank according to where we at NoHuddle believe they will fall for that particular week using a tiered system. The higher the tier, the better off, the lower the tier, the more you want to stay away from those players. All rankings are based on upcoming opponent, past performances, and projections for the current week and will be updated as the week progresses. Here we go:

The Kings: (Represent the Elite at their position for the week- Top End QBs):

The Princes: (Represent the QBs that should still perform at QB1 levels):

  1. Matt Ryan v. GB
  2. Tom Brady @ BUF
  3. Russell Wilson @ NO
  4. Carson Palmer @ CAR
  5. Jamies Winston v. OAK
  6. Derek Carr @ TB
  7. Matthew Stafford @ HOU
  8. Andrew Luck v. KC
  9. Drew Brees v. SEA
  10. Cam Newton v. ARI

The Dukes: (Represent the QBs that should perform at QB2 levels with a chance to sneak into Prince and King territory):

  1. Trevor Siemian v. SD
  2. Ryan Fitzpatrick @ CLE
  3. Marcus Mariota v. JAX
  4. Kirk Cousins @ CIN

The Marquess: (Represent QBs that should perform at a solid QB2 level):

  1. Alex Smith @ IND
  2. Andy Dalton v. WAS
  3. Blake Bortles @ TN
  4. Brock Osweiler v. DET

The Barons: (Represents the QBs that are the most desperate of all starts and in all likelihood, we are trying to avoid deploying in our lineup)

  1. Carson Wentz @ DAL
  2. Dak Prescott v. PHI
  3. Tyrod Talor v. NE
  4. Sam Bradford v. CHI
  5. Cody Kessler v. NYJ
  6. Jay Cutler v. MIN
